Skateboard Smacks Reporter Mike Amor On The Head On Live TV

This is the eye-watering moment a TV reporter was hit on the head by a rogue skateboard. Mike Amor, US bureau chief for Australia’s Seven Network was filming a segment from a skate park in Los Angeles’ Venice Beach when … BAM! Judging by the reactions of the crowd it was quite a smack, but Amor carried on recording shortly after the incident. What a trooper!

A reporter was blindsided by an errant skateboard which smacked him squarely in the back of the head while shooting a piece to camera. Mike Amor, the US bureau chief for Channel Seven Australia, was filming a piece to camera at a skate park in Venice Beach in Los Angeles, California.

The Venice Beach Lottery

Below is a link to a paper I wrote about the Venice Beach lottery....I've since learned some new facts and the paper isn't entirely accurate as I think I got the name of the guy who does the political billboards wrong.  As well, I now realize that some of the spaces are a different size than others, though I don't think it affects the larger point about space flexibility.  Since that time, I've heard a lot of stories about businesses getting spots to specifically keep them empty and I've seen a lot more empty spaces on the boardwalk.   Anyways, here is the paper.....
