used to be owned by 2 young guys whose names began with 'J' who were there 24/7. They had developed a new way of making Granita that was supposedly way healthy and way tasty. I know it was at least way tasty and you can still go here for a $2 mocha with tasty mocha chips. Cheaper and better than ice cream.
The 2 Js no longer own this place however and it apparently has been bought by.....Brittany Spear's father. I thought this was an urban legend until I read the new sign touting Jamie Spear's Louisiana recipe. Indeed, it's really odd that this granita, soft serve ice cream shop happens to serve Louisiana Po Boys. Hmmmm....
Located at the NW corner of Windward and Pacific. I definitely recommend the Granita.
